Alexi Phillips is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends DePaul College Prep. Phillips ran a 7.85 Sixty Yard Dash. Medium athletic frame with some strength and easy room for additional strength. Primary catcher with a high hip side straddle set up. Staying online with the footwork while gaining ground through the plate with a longer arm swing through the back side into an over the top arm action. Throwing downhill at times with developing arm strength and accurate throws on a hop to second. Right handed hitter with a wide even foot base into a small leg lift trigger. Creating some rhythm throughout the operation with quick hands through the zone at a lofted path. With the uphill launch he drives the ball deep to center field in the air presenting some strength at impact as well. Alexi was impressive on both sides of the ball with very projectable actions. He is an excellent student In the classroom.
