Drew Boivin is a 2026 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Gibsonia, PA who attends Pine-Richland. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow start with a big stride into contact, keeps his hands short and direct to contact well with good extension through contact, can get too inside at times, has some bat speed for his age and size and projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger. 7.69 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has active feet working through the ball and some quickness to his hands, gets on top of his throws well and makes accurate throws with some carry, solid overall defensive action. Also pitched, works front the stretch with simple turn and throw mechanics, high 3/4's to over the top arm strength with a compact arm circle. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight. Still developing feel of his secondary pitches, change up had some tumble when he maintained his arm speed. Good athlete who will keep improving in all areas. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
