Andrew Swanick is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Mendham, NJ who attends Randolph. Tall, long build with some present strength and lots of physical projection remaining. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the baseball at a deliberate pace and attempts to work on top of it. Developing feel for the footwork and technique at the position. Takes a medium arm path before accelerating into a high ¾ arm slot. Put good carry on his throws and kept them fairly online. Recorded arm strength up to 83 mph from the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with a coiled leg lift up to the chest. Drives off the rubber well and creates clean extension into a high ¾ slot. Attempts to finish over his front-side. Creates downward angle to his fastball while working it north to south; topped it out at 79 mph. Mixed in a shorter curveball at 62 mph. Right-handed batter, starts in an open stance with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a shorter leg lift trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Produced loud impact to the middle of the field when timed up. Power tool will improve with additional strength and minor mechanical refinements. Posted an exit velocity of 90 mph. Excellent student.
