Taller frame with some strength and a physical look. Left-handed pitcher, works from a belt-high leg kick with a longer stride down the mound. Longer plunge in the back with a lower three- quarter arm slot. Rotational drop-and-drive mechanics. The fastball (2053 RPM), was mid-to-upper 70s and reached 81, showed some two-seam action and was located on both halves of the plate low in the strike zone. Quality curveball with 1-7 shape and horizontal tilt. Tight break on it and could throw it behind in counts and for swing and miss. Moved mix around the zone well. Secondary outfielder, charges it with good momentum, quick feet. Fields off front foot with strength on the arm on a quick arm stroke. Good flight and carry on the throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and open feet, utilizes an inward leg lift trigger. Downhill swing plane with some barrel whip. Intriguing player with good projection on mound. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
