Taye Falls is a 2027 C/3B/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Michigan City, IN who attends South Central. Slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger and a deep hand load, rotational swing mechanics with good hand and bat speed, gets the barrel out front, was well timed and on barrel in the games and crushed some balls, projectable hitting tools. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down, has clean on line footwork and gains ground well into his throws, repeats his actions well and shows athleticism, made accurate throws with developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield with similar clean and polished athletic actions. Will be interesting to see once he gains about 20 pounds of muscle. Good student. Named to the PG Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
