2026 PG Northeast Indoor Showcase
Aidan Carey is a 2028 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Franklin Square, NY who attends Kellenberg Memorial. Slender high-waisted build with lots of physical projection remaining. 4.95 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense, attacks the ball aggressively and carries his momentum through his throws, 3/4's arm slot with a loose and strong arm, lots of carry on his throws and is pretty accurate. Also worked out in the infield, not as smooth or polished in his actions but his athleticism and arm strength plays well there. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance, limited lower half shift into contact, tends to cast the barrel out with his hands, middle of the field line drive approach, is much too athletic for this swing approach. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a belt high leg raise and a low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph and was thrown for strikes. Still developing feel for spinning a breaking ball but the arm strength and mechanics are there to be a potential two-way prospect. Good student.
