Brayden Aungst is a 2026 RHP/C/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Lecanto, FL who attends Lecanto. A medium frame with strength throughout the build. Showed some physicality in a bigger frame that projects as he continues to add more muscle. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked from the third-base side of the mound, pitching from the stretch, coming to a closed foot set position. He showed a belt-high leg lift just above before working downhill. He has a full arm swing, pitching from a high slot and getting downhill well. He created some angle through the zone on his fastball. He worked 79-83 mph on the fastball, spinning it above 2,300 RPMs. He also showed a 12-6 shaped curveball in the mix, working it in the low- to mid-70s, with spin above 2,400 RPMs. He landed the breaking balls for strikes, and with the tough angle, he induced some swings and misses. He also took BP as a right-handed hitter with an upright stance, even base, and higher-set hands. He kept his hands tight to the body and was able to show an uphill path working through it, working the middle of the field during his round of BP swings. He's rotational through it with strength in the hands that allowed him to use his strength to impact it well. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during DK testing. Worked out as a catcher as well, showing a higher crouch with a longer arm action working through it. He had some strength out of the hand with good arm speed. Showed a lower transfer working out of the crouch and into throws. Threw 77 mph down to second with a 2.00 pop time. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
