Jhames Holley Iii is a 2026 1B/OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Homewood, IL who attends Homewood-Flossmoor. Features an athletic frame with some present strength. Ran a 7.10 60-yd dash. At 1B, showed good feet around the bag, solid lateral range and clean glove actions. Used a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws and allowed for. a quick releases especially on DPs. At the plate, sits in a wider even base with bat rested on the shoulder. Uses a simple smaller leg lift trigger as hands load the barrel up into a strong launch. Rotational swing. Hands throw a quick barrel working it more direct at entry and flattening it out into contact with some slight cut off. Best results was hard LD contact he sent through the middle of the field. On the mound, he got out there for an inning and threw strikes. Simple operation, working more tall/fall into a smaller stride. Used a shorter arm action that worked to release from a higher 3/4 slot. Ran his FB into the low 70s, T73 and mixed in a bigger low 60s breaker with some hump out the hand but still produced some whiffs. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
