Cameron Barnes is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Oak Park & River Forest. Extra-large, physical frame with present strength proportioned throughout, additional room to develop. Ran an 8.49 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, belt high leg lift at start of delivery with some drop and drive in mechanics, in sync deliver with a medium arm stroke working to a high three-quarters release point. Uses length well to work downhill, heavy life to fastball up to 85 mph with steep plane, has feel to mix and match to set hitters up and sequences well. Straight changeup at 78 mph and sells it well. Curveball up to 72 mph from similar high slot with big 11-5 shape and some depth through the zone. Solid stuff across the board. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and loads weight onto backside; lofted path through the zone and remains direct to the point of impact. Solid present bat speed through the zone, easy strength and does a nice job of getting into lower half. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
