2026 PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday)
Rohan Persad is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Harbord Collegiate Institute. Thicker athletic build with good present strength for his age. Primary shortstop on defense, comes and gets the ball well with a smooth and confident funnel, longer arm action with good carry on his throws, showed he could drop his slot, has athletic lower half actions and plenty of lateral range. 3.97 runner in the thirty. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and open stance with a low hand load and a big leg raise trigger, swings hard and creates nice bat speed, turns the barrel well and shows power to the middle of the field, was consistently on the barrel and timed up. Also pitched, worked from the stretch with a high leg raise coil above the rubber, athleticism showed in his ability to repeat. Fastball was in the low 80's with some cutting life, also threw a downer curveball. Outstanding student. Named to the PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday) Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
