2024 High School All State Select Championship (2027-2028 Grads)
Ian Cabrera is a 2027 RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Eagan, MN who attends Eagan. Features a taller build with some present strength throughout. On the mound, showed intriguing stuff. He side steps into a mid chest knee tuck and comes down easy with smaller driveleg engagement but stays closed well. Longer arm path out the glove that works to a slight stab out the back and with some effort to a higher 3/4 slot. Lands on-line but with torso and momentum leaking him over to the 1B side of the mound. Ran the FB up to 85 and lived low 80s that had some downhill plane to it where he showed good feel to command it to the gloveside. Mixed in a low 70s SL that had quality depth and a bit of lateral break that got if off barrels. Good student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
