Dylan Lindstrom is a 2027 SS/C with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Golden Valley, MN who attends Hopkins. Medium build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hit from an even base with leg lift timing. Compact swing with above average bat speed for the age. Level bat path and developing ability to get the swing connected to backside rotation. Used the whole field and controlled the barrel well. Primary catcher on defense, gets out of the crouch with quick fundamental footwork, clean transfers, throws from the ear staying on top of the baseball with above average arm strength and accuracy. Showed some glove actions in the infield with feel for taking efficient lateral angles to the baseball, a quick release and carry and accuracy to throws across the diamond. Very good student.
