Alexander Mendozajr is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Port Saint Lucie, FL who attends Dade Christian. Athletic medium size frame. Ran a 6.65 60-yard dash. Two-way talent with fundamental footwork in the infield, light feet with the ability to move laterally with range to both sides, polished glove actions with rhythm and body control. And completes plays with a strong arm, up to 91 mph across the diamond. Hit from a slightly open stance, strong well connected swing with a level bat path and primary pull side approach. Showed feel for the barrel with a blend of strength and developing bat speed. Four pitch mix on the mound out of a high three-quarter slot. Fastball in the mid 80's and topped at 87.Feel to spin two distinct breaking balls at over 2500 RPM. Developing change up in the low 80's. Athlete on the mound with arm talent, works quick and gets ahead of hitters early with a developing swing and miss repertoire. High level 2-way potential. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
