2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase
Nicky Vitucci is a 2028 RHP/2B/SS with a 6-2 167 lb. frame from Whitefish Bay, WI who attends Whitefish Bay. Tall and lean young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with some coil over the rubber, drop and drive mechanics down the mound, longer arm action in back leading to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some run and sink, pronates over the ball at release. Curveball was a solid second pitch with 11/5 shape and some snapping bite. Change up was tunneled well with his fastball with similar sink and run. Threw strikes and sequenced well. Big jump over 2024 and a good bet to keep improving. Right handed hitter, has a loose and extended swing from a barrel wrap load and toe tap trigger, showed barrel control and was consistently driving the ball to the gaps, stays behind the ball well, hits off a firm front side, has some hitting tools to continue to develop. 7.56 runner in the sixty. Good student. Named to 2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
