Arnold Wu is a 2025 RHP/IF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Shanghai American School/IMG Academy. Medium athletic build with good length and some present strength. Works from a high leg raise delivery with good pace and stays in sync well, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with low spin rate characteristics, got good sinking action and threw strikes with his fastball. Threw both a slider and a curveball with a pretty advanced feel for spinning it, created lots of weak swings and swing/miss with the breaking balls. 7.49 runner in the sixty. Secondary third baseman on defense, slides his feet well and gets in good position to field the ball, confident glove actions, plenty of arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a big leg raise trigger, gets into his hips and lower half well and creates bat speed and strength at contact, showed carry to both gaps. Two-way prospect. Good student. Named to the West Florida Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
