2026 PG Northwest Indoor Showcase
Jackson Birrell is a 2029 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Snohomish, WA who attends Glacier Peak. Tall athletic build with lots of strength potential. Left handed hitter, has good rhythm to his swing with a well timed toe tap trigger and loose and fast hands, whips the barrel through and has some strength at contact, showed the ability to lift the ball when he got the barrel got out front, has hitting tools and the build to develop as a hitter. 5.06 runner in the forty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good fundamentals and gets his glove down early and fields it cleanly out front, some young arm strength, can continue to develop his ability to play on the move. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high high leg tuck start, uptempo delivery with a short stride out front, low 3/4's arm slot that hides the ball well. Fastball sat in the upper 70's with some sink and run. Also threw a short low 70's slider and developing change up. Excellent student. Named to the PG Northwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
