2026 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase
Samuel Patterson is a 2028 LHP/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Sauk City, WI who attends Sauk Prairie. Stronger medium athletic build. Works from the stretch with a high leg lift start, well connected mechanics with good lower half drive down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot creates some downhill plane to the plate. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph with some run and sink. Slider was a good pitch with high spin rates, sharp biting action and lots of horizontal depth. Sinker/slider traits with time to keep improving. Left handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a calm and simple approach, works gap to gap and showed some lift in his swing, liked the rhythm to the swing. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, has good feel for his footwork and presents his glove well, gets downhill over his throws and made accurate throws. Very good student. Named to the Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
