Casey Kelly is a 2028 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Sun Prairie, WI who attends Sun Prairie. Medium athletic build. 6.64 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has athletic actions and is comfortable and quick coming to the ball, tends to field the ball too close to his body, big crow hop into his throws, has some arm strength and carry, can improve getting on top of the ball consistently. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance with a high hand load, gets out to his front side early, middle of the field line drive approach, keeps his timing and path simple and repeatable. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was mostly in the upper 70's and straight, topped out at 81 mph. Also threw a soft curveball. Split finger change up had some tumble and produced some swing and miss. Good student. Named to the Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
