2026 PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday)  
Aryan Pandey is a 2029 SS/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Markham, ON who attends Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age and more to come. Primary shortstop on defense, moves through the ball smoothly and carries momentum into his throws, good footwork and angles, makes accurate throws with some arm strength for his age and more to come. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright and slightly open stance with a short stride into contact, stays compact and direct to the ball, turns his hips well and creates torque, pretty low effort swing mechanics that create bat speed and hard line drive contact, projects well as a hitter. Also pitched, works from an uptempo abbreviated wind up and repeats his mechanics well. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 82 mph and got some whiffs in the zone. Slider was his best pitch with power and 2500+ rpm spin rates. Flashed a change up in warm ups but didn't use against hitters. Has a chance as a two-way player with his ability to spin the ball. Very good student. Named to the PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday) Top Prospect List.
