Alberto Soriano is a 2026 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends El Dorado. Thick and strong broad shouldered build with the potential to get even stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high hand load and leg raise trigger, gets some coil at the top of his swing, present bat speed with leverage and impact through the zone, pull to mid field contact, lots of offensive potential. 8.09 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, step by step actions to the ball and tends to stay back on the ball, two handed fielder out front, has some idea on his footwork and turns, made accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield but fits best at first base. Took a turn on the mound, works exclusively from the stretch with a low 3/4's arm action and a slow paced rotational delivery. Fastball was mostly in the upper 70's and topped out at 81 mph, also threw a slurve type breaking ball and a change up. Power is his tool. Very good student.
