Nicholas"Cole" Wiper is a 2011 RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport HS. Tall and lean pitcher's build, good physical projection. Simple turn and throw delivery, short backside, some drift, throws downhill, loose fast arm. 88-91 mph fastball, occasional cutting action. Two outstanding breaking balls, true slider is big, hard and sharp, CB has bigger shape and downer bite, good feel for both breaking balls, consistent quality, didn't see change up. Three quality present pitches and plenty of projection left. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon.
