Luis Camacho is a 2015 MIF/3B with a 5-9 162 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Compact frame, small athletic build. Hits from a slightly open stance, good separation of upper and lower halves, good bat speed, creates leverage at times, needs to learn to repeat swing better as mechanics can get inconsistent. Clean stroke, aggressive swing, good hitting tools to develop. Clean defensive actions in the middle infield, good carry on throws, accurate throws with solid arm strength and no tailing action on throws, can improve release time but otherwise very sound defender. Named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
