Trey Rodriguez is a 2012 MIF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Mary Carroll HS. Smaller build with some present strength and body life. 6.83 runner, quick feet, good athleticism defensively, fluid on routine plays, can throw from different arm angles, compact release, should continue to develop. Balanced hitting approach, smooth power type swing, has bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard, can get long at times but squares up well. Not consistent yet but has the tools to develop. Good student.
