Brenden Geary is a 2012 1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from South Hadley, MA who attends Tabor Academy. Strong, athletic body. Solid defensive tools at 1B. Feet work, throws were online with clean arm action and average arm strength. Left-handed bat with lots of potential at the plate. Quiet, easy approach. Stays back on the ball and attacks it out front with bat speed and a loose, strong swing. Ball comes off the bat very well with good sound. Slight uppercut swing plane will lead to more power. Lots of juice in bat, more to come in the future. Interesting bat to watch. Good student.
