Stephen Corona is a 2013 1B/RHP with a 6-0 193 lb. frame from Santa Fe Springs, CA who attends Santa Fe Springs HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Left handed hitter, open stance, tends to open up and move in early, long swing with good bat speed, stays on the ball through contact well, ball comes off the barrel, has hitting tools and strength to develop. Athletic actions at first base defensively, good footwork. Also pitched, slow paced leg tuck delivery, high arm circle. Fastball to 83 mph, mostly straight, throws his curveball for strikes, rare change up.
