Jeffrey Passantino is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Bishop Verot HS. Strong compact build, physically mature look. Full delivery, long arm action, extended high 3/4's release, some effort. Consistent mid 80's fastball, mostly straight, spots fastball to both sides of the plate, big breaking curveball with depth and good shape, has feel for spotting curveball as well. Has deception, bad swings against, and pitchability, would like to see change up. Right handed hitter, tall open stance, long loose swing, good extension out front, hard pull contact, squares it up, line drives, nice overall swing. Good student.
