Robert Blalock is a 2012 LHP with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood HS. Very tall, slender build, long limbs, developing strength. Hands away from body in delivery, full arm circle, high 3/4's release point, overstrides/collapses from side and loses leverage and angle to the plate. Primary fastball pitcher, touched 82 mph, mostly straight. Has difficulty getting over curveball from release/mechanics, soft spin, good release point for a future SL, did not see change up. Has looseness and arm speed, can improve with adjustments and added strength. Good student.
