Andrew Hinton is a 2016 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Lakeside HS. Large frame, strong physical build. Switch hitter, more natural from the left side. Strong at contact, quiet setup in the box, hits from a still start, smooth swing, some feel for barrel and bat speed from the left side. Moving parts to catch and throw mechanics, good use of strong lower half to gain ground, solid arm and release time. Good student, named to the National Underclass Main Event top prospect team.
