Dominique Key is a 2014 RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends San Diego HS. Wide shouldered athletic build, good present strength. Drop and drive delivery with good hip turn, high 3/4's arm slot, has athleticism in his delivery, compact quick arm action, still working on consistency in arm slot and mechanics. Power fastball to 93 mph, big tailing action on fastball at times. Curveball lacks ideal velocity but has hard spin and big 11/5 depth at times, throws fastball and curveball for strikes, still developing feel for change up. Very good pick off move and is quick to the plate, will eliminate a running game. Big arm and two present pitches.
