Matthew Pita is a 2015 MIF/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Moseley, VA who attends Cosby HS. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Hits from an open stance with a high hand set, line drive swing plane, good bat speed, showed ability to use all fields, showed pullside pop in game at bats. Good balance to infield acons, sound footwork, solid actions, strong arm, moves through the ball well. Very good student. Named to the National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect Team.
