Alexander Stiegler is a 2016 RHP/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Medium athletic build, good present strength. High 3/4's arm slot with some downhill angle, some drop and drive to his delivery, has good arm speed, still working on repeating his release point. Fastball up to 85 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink, can pitch to both sides of the plate but tends to miss up with his fastball when he misses. Slurve type breaking ball with some tightness and occasional depth, good arm speed and feel on his change up. Has two-way potential with the bat. Right handed hitter with a strong, short swing, has bat speed and makes loud contact, aggressive hitter who works the entire field, hard line drive contact. 7.19 runner, third base actions and profile, has quick feet defensively and reads hops well. Very good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
