Mitchell Miller is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Loganville HS. Very long and loose athletic build, long arms, very projectable physically. Extended 3/4's arm action, really creates angle to the plate, up tempo delivery but stays balanced, high leg kick to start, has athletic actions. Fastball to 89 mph, lots more velocity in there and has been up to 92 in other events this summer, gets lots of running action arm side, pretty straight over the middle of the plate. Big breaking slow curveball with 1/7 shape, lacks power but depth is a plus. Good arm speed on change up with fading action, didn't show command of the pitch this outing but the potential is there. Prototype projection prospect who could really explode with physical maturity. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi State.
