2014 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Brock Neuhaus is a 2014 RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Pleasant Valley HS. Young athletic build, very projectable physically, lots of room to get stronger. Tall delivery with good lower half leg drive to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and fast coming through. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, good late running and sinking life at times. Curveball is his out pitch, has very good power in the mid-70's with late sharpness and good depth. Developing a nice change up with sink that is a solid third pitch. Just a matter of when he gets stronger when the velocity will spike. Good student. Signed with Kansas State.
