Brent Jones is a 2014 SS/3B, RHP, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny HS. Medium frame athletic lean build. Has a short arm action in the infield, has good actions, fields the ball out front, has a good arm across the infield, has good hands. At the plate starts with an open stance, leg lift load, has a pull approach, shows bat speed, has a good fluid swing, line drive swing plane. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound, has a back turn deceptive delivery, gets good extension, throws strikes, curveball has big break to it. Is a good student and an interesting prospect to follow.
