Nick Hernandez is a 2017 C/RHP, 3B, 1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Solid build with broad shoulders. Hits from a square stance with a wide base. Quiet hands to ball with a line drive swing plane. Has strength as ball shows good carry off barrel. Swing is simple and repeatable and shows lift in swing. Has feel for barrel. Good power potential. Defensively, primary catcher, popped a 2.02 with a clean transfer and release. Has quick feet and gains ground on throws that have good accuracy to the base. From the Infield, threw 81 across diamond with a short arm action, has sure actions to ball with a clean transfer and release. Good Student.
