Bryce Bartlett is a 2016 C/MIF, RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Searcy, AR who attends Harding Academy. Large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build. Ran 7.56 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Stays tall on back side and keeps weight back, gets on top of the ball and creates downhill plane at times. Fastball topped at 83 mph with downhill plane and mixed in two off speed pitches. Curveball shows nice potential with 11-5 and depth when he stays on top. Shows a straight changeup at 72 mph and maintains arm action on the pitch. Moves well in the infield, solid first step and can cover ground, stands upright on throws, shows strength across. Switch hitter, shows a nice approach from the right side, simple swing from an even stance with quick hands and a line drive swing path. Left-handed, starts with a quiet hand set and a narrow base, shows a pull side approach with contact to pull side and up the middle. Named to South Underclass Top Prospect List. God student.
