Nolan Bond is a 2015 RHP/MIF with a 6-4 163 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak HS. Long and lean young build, very projectable physically. Mechanically sound delivery, arm is loose and easy, uses his lower half well. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, good sinking and running action low in the zone. Change up is best secondary pitch, good arm speed and deception, soft curveball with 11/5 shape, throws strikes with all pitches and goes right after hitters. 7.16 runner, showed his athleticism on the mound defensively and in infield drills. Right handed hitter, aggressive long swing with the beginnings of some bat speed, power approach and showed his power in the games. Build and athleticism give him a very good chance to keep improving. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect Team.
