Tyler Becker is a 2016 SS/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Manorville, NY who attends Eastport-South Manor. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Fluid actions at shortstop, quick feet, gets in a good position to make the throw, quick release, gets on top of the ball well on accurate throws across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts from an upright stance with a high hand set. Creates contact out front, line drive contact to opposite field, stays balanced well through swing. Gets to front side early on occasion, good feel for barrel with smooth swing. Excellent student.
