Christian Robinson is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Viera HS. Very highly athletic build, strong and well proportioned. Runs very well for his size, 6.62 in the sixty, moves to the ball very well in the outfield, big crow hop throwing, has lots of arm strength and carry and made accurate throws, repeated his mechanics well. Left handed hitter, very still start to his swing with limited lower half use, upper half hands driven swing, has outstanding raw strength and creates bat speed and shows power, could really improve and have elite bat speed with use of his lower half and some rhythm to his approach, shows very good barrel skills and makes consistent contact. Younger prospect who recently reclassified from the 2018 class. Has huge athletic talent if he can make adjustments in his swing approach. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida.
