Brett Fortune is a 2014 SS/2B, OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Branchburg, NJ who attends Somerville. Medium, athletic build with more room to fill out. Ran a 5.16 40 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open setup and is in a slight crouch. Carries his hands high and hits line drives to the middle of the field. Makes contact to all fields, could get more extension. Repeats his swing mechanics well. Shows solid infield arm strength and ranges well into the hole. Stays on top of his throws and makes all the plays consistently. Shows athletic actions. Very good student.
