Jarrett Hall is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Tamarac, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Extra-large, athletic frame, athletic frame wiht broad shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout zone. Big time athleticism, ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. Primary righthander pitcher but graded out higher with the bat in this look. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and open stance, gets closed well at point of contact. Begins with weight on backside, small shift moving into swing with short path through the zone, uses strength well to generate bat speed with whip to barrel. Line drive swing plane, fires hips well and worked all fields. On the mound shows a full arm action through the back to a three-quarters arm slot, hip turn at top with a leg lift slightly up past belt. Works on top of the ball well, fastball topped out at 83 mph with cut action, stays off barrels nicely and able to induced steady ground ball contact. Short stride down the mound, threw both a slider and curveball, curveball showed 12-6 shape with short bite and can get to back foot of hitters, slider offered tighter rotation. Similar full arm action from the outfield, short steps moving towards the ball, developing actions to and throw the ball, gets over front side with accuracy to intended base. Very good student.
