Connor Kaiser is a 2015 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley West HS. Long lean projectable build, young look. Two way prospect who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Stays tall and balanced athletic delivery, short stride out front, high 3/4's to over the top slot, gets downhill well. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, plenty more velocity there with additional strength and physical maturity. Slurve type breaking ball with occasional 11/5 depth, developing change up, threw strikes and worked ahead. 7.03 runner, long strider in the middle infield, works through the ball well, good exchange and release, lots of arm strength, future third base tools and profile. Right handed hitter, hits with tight hands to his body and tries to stay inside the ball, has hand quickness and some developing bat speed, mid field line drive contact, gets extended out front, projectable hitting tools. Well rounded athlete who is just growing into his coordination and gaining strength. Should be very interesting to watch develop.
