Brady Netherton is a 2017 SS/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Decatur, AL who attends Hartselle HS. Athletic broad shouldered build with very good strength for his age, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, upper half rotational swing, has strength in his swing and present bat speed, best contact when pulling, has some lift in his swing and gets the ball into the air. 7.43 runner, fields the ball cleanly out front, moves well laterally with quick feet, very good raw arm strength, can stay at shortstop with continued development of quickness and speed but profiles well at third base. Also pitched, loose easy arm action with good arm speed, lower release slot. Steady mid-80's fastball, gets very good running live at times, quality slider that he has confidence and feel for. Attacked hitters with strikes and kept the ball low. Two-way potential. Good student. Named to the Showcase All Prospect Team.
