Ian Pung is a 2015 3B/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Hardin Valley HS. Compact athletic build with some present strength. Good runner, 6.96 in the sixty,moves well in the infield, short arm action with a quick release, second base tools and profile. Left handed hitter, bit of a wrapped start but works through it, good timing and shift to contact, swings hard and has some bat speed, aggressive hitter who sees the ball well and has confidence, knows the strike zone, solid line drive contact, polished hitter with hitting ability. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
