Leugim Castillo is a 2017 OF/SS with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Lancaster, NY who attends Lancaster HS. Big extra strong build, outstanding athletic build. Can really run for his size, 6.51 in the sixty. Left field tools on defense, has work to do with his arm action and footwork, has the athleticism to keep improving on defense with coaching. Right handed hitter, open stance, tends to stay open, has very good bat speed with explosion at contact, limited lower half use and more bat speed there, huge raw power and strength when he barrels up the ball. Has really big physical skills but still learning the skills and getting the repetitions. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
