Scott Bellina is a 2014 RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Manlius, NY who attends IMG Academy. Has a medium build with room to fill out. Uses a medium repeatable arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot. Works in the mid to upper 80's with his fastball topping at 88. Fastball showed occasional cut action and life at the plate. Velocity projects with continued strength in frame. Mixed in sharp curveball with good downer action and 11/5 hard spin. Repeats delivery well with good extension. Advanced approach on mound with good command. Attacked with fastball and pitched downhill. Has upside on mound. Named to Top Prospect List.
