Major Posey is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-3 188 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends North Florida Christian HS. Large frame with broad shoulders and excellent projection throughout. Primary righthanded pitcher; shows athletic delivery, drop and drive to delivery with good lower half incorporation. Throws from high three quarters arm slot; creates good plane to the plate along with some angle. Fastball worked 81-86 mph, was around the zone with the pitch consistently. Slider worked in low-mid 70's with good spin at times; flashed ability to work pitch to both sides of the plate. Good student; verbally committed to Central Florida.
