Max Dehon is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe Northwest. Tall athletic body with physical projection. On the mound shows a low 3/4 to side arm slot. Deceptive delivery with varying release points on offering. Fastball has consistent cutting action with a tighter arm action that creates some whip. Fastballed ranged from 71-75 mph with developing sink in later innings. Showed a sweeping curveball with 10/4 shape and some depth, topped at 65 mph. Mixed a chageup at times with fading glove side action and deceptive arm speed. Primarily pitches to contact. Shows the abilitiy to miss barrels and create softer contact from hitters when working the edges of the strike zone. Very good student as well.
