Taylor Broadway is a 2015 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Community Christian HS. Slender young build, room to get stronger. 7.56 runner but plays much faster in games, shows athleticism in the infield, quick actions with good footwork to the ball, quick soft hands, accurate throws with some carry, has middle infield tools defensively. Right handed hitter, aggressive hitting approach from a balanced stance, upper half intensive swing creates bat speed, line drive swing plane, explodes hands at contact and the ball jumps off the barrel, balance gives him the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields. Also pitched, sound delivery mechanics, arm works well on the mound, mid-3/4's arm slot, fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight, curveball had tight spin and good depth at times. Really competes hard on the field and impressed with his approach to the game. Good student.
