Dalton Rone is a 2017 SS/OF, 2B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Theodore, AL who attends Theodore. Rone has a smaller frame with a young lean biuld. Defensively he has energetic actions and stays low to and through the ball. Rone has developing actions with arm strength up to 78 MPH. At the plate, Rone starts with a square stance with a calm tall approach. He has a simple balanced swing with a short path to the baseball. Rone has quick hands and generates good bat speed. He has a lead off type hitter approach and has the hitting tools to do so. Very interesting young player with upside. Excellent student.
